Ph D (a) Faculty of Fisheries (b) Faculty of Ocean Science and Technology(c) Faculty of Ocean Engineering (d) Faculty of Climate Variability and Aquatic Ecosystem (e) Faculty of Management, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Post Doctoral Fellowship Emerging areas in Fisheries and Ocean Studies.
For UG Programmes B F Sc and B Tech Food Technology admission is through NEET and KEAM entrance test.
Application Fee : Application fee can be remitted favouring The Finance Officer in the Current A/c No.67277732022 of KUFOS maintained at SBI, Vyttila (IFSC Code SBIN0070517) in the challan attached with the application form.
General category: Rs. 1000/-(Rupees One thousand only) for one to five programmes. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (native of Kerala only): Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for one to five programmes .
Only those candidates who choose the option “NRI” under the head “Special Reservations” while applying on-line/offline has to remits the additional fee of Rs.5000/- over and above the normal fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in the case of SC/ST Candidates).
KUFOS FELLOWSHIPS: Meritorious students admitted to the Master's Degree Programme in the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies is eligible for the Junior Fellowship. Meritorious candidates admitted to Ph.D programme are eligible
for the Senior Fellowship. Students in receipt of any other scholarship, fellowship or financial assistance from any other source during the period will not be considered for the award of KUFOS fellowships. The University offers five fellowships each for Post graduate and Ph.D students from each School. Junior fellowship is Rs. 2,000/- per month and Senior Research fellowship is Rs. 13,000/- per month.
MANAPPURAM FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: Three students from the general category and three students belonging to the fishermen community undergoing MBA programme are eligible to receive the Manappuram Foundation scholarship. The
amount of scholarship is Rs 4000/- per month. This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the eligible students in each semester.

Mode of Selection: Through common entrance examination and interview conducted by KUFOS. ICAR quota seats will be filled by the All India Entrance test conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi

2010. KUFOS is the first fisheries university in the country. The
headquarters of KUFOS with its enchanting blue building stands in
