- Write clean, well-designed code
- Produce detailed specifications
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to participate in a team-oriented environment to develop complex Web-based applications.
- Ability to maintain the existing codebase to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and contribute to new ideas in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setup
Essential Job Skills:
- Proven hands-on experience developing web applications using PHP with MySQL
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
- Proven hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap , node.js etc
- Proven hands-on experience developing cross-browser frontends using XHTML, CSS, AJAX ,JSON
- Proven hands-on experience using command line tools and writing SHELL scripts
- Extensive knowledge of the latest web trends and 3rd party packages.
