Required skills:
- Strong programming expertise on PHP, HTML5, MySQL.
- Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and working experience on Webservers and web services.
- Sound knowledge of PHP frameworks like Yii, CodeIgniter, CakePHP.
- Must be very proficient in creating Web Applications & Website using PHP , JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, MySQL, HTML, CSS
- Hands-on experience in programming database-driven web sites in LAMP technologies.
- Experienced with tools such as : MVC framework, Javascript frameworks, NetBeans IDE, Subversion.
- Extensive experience with writing code accessing and manipulating the databases.
- Experience in architecting and designing scalable and high performing applications.
- Interacting & working with the design team to match code with design layout.
- Good understanding of the full SDLC process -- understanding requirement analysis; creating technical specifications; development with best practices; unit testing; deployment.
- Understanding the product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- A high degree of passion about development the ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies to meet business goals is crucial.
- Candidate should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, in order to work and communicated effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Desired skills:
- Good to have working experience on NodeJS, NoSQL DB (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
- JavaScript frameworks like JQuery Mobile, Angular JS, Backbone JS, SPA.
- Exposure in mobility space and cloud environment is an added advantage.
- Proven software development experience in PHP
- Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
