Job Description:

1. Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively 
2. Collaborate with a team of full-stack and front-end developers to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and websites. 
3. Keep up to date on web development trends and understanding how it applies to our customers- needs. 
4. Performance tuning, testing, refactoring, usability, and automation 
5. Maintain strong coding, compliance, & security standards 
6. Interact with Business, Product and Engineering teams and actively participate in feature/functionality design and provide valuable feedback. 
7. Proven ability to author clean, standards-compliant code 
8. Payment processing integration experience in a PCI compliant environment is a plus 

Technical Experience 

1. Strong experience with Laravel/Codeignitor framework 
2.  Experience with MVC and OOP design patterns 
3. Vue.js experience is preferred but not required, but any client-side structured JavaScript experience (such as Angular/react) would be beneficial 
4. Experience in working environments of LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) 
5. Experience in web development: HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
6. Experience working and integrating with third-party APIs 
7. Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages 
8. Familiarity with GITLAB 
9. Experience with relational databases
