Job Description:

Day to day incident handling of cabling domain.
Analyzing incident to ensure only incident related to cabling parked in cabling bin.
Assigning team to attend the incident.
Proactive approach in informing dependency if any to respective customer SPOC through proper channel.
Ensuring quality of work done post incident.Request Fulfillment (RF) on Cabling domain.Site survey against each RF to analyze requirement.
Calculating time line in discussion with team members considering other open RF.
Time line declaration posting analyzing material availability and other dependency if any.
Site monitoring at each level of work to ensure quality of work.Documenting the data to make use of it for future reference.
Optical Fiber Incident handling:Understanding fiber back bone of around 150 TC/ TCN/ MCR, - SM OFC of around 800 Km.
Understanding network topology of different locations.Understanding OFC topology of different location with network topology.
Understanding redundancy of each OFC and network.
OTDR testing & understanding report.
Assigning proper team at different hops of OFC for testing.
Identifying damage hop and assigning splicer.
Post splicing ensuring dB loss is within limit with OTDR.
Confirming with network team on service status.
Leading team of 24 Engineer.Managing Shift roster.
Ensuring no break in shift.Ensuring 100 % utilization of team.
Understanding drawing (in cad format too).Need to read drawing.
Need to map on drawing.
Designing layout for any No of Copper & Fiber Network.
Strong knowledge on BICSI standard.
Documenting any cabling work with patching details.
Ensuring self and team to follow safety norms.
All permission related to work & safety to be managed
