Police Sub Inspector Preliminary Examination 2016 recruitment in Maharashtra Public Service Commission
Total No. of Vacancy : 750 posts (Open category – 566 posts, Reserved category – 184 posts)
Qualification : Candidates should have passed bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university or institute.
Pay Scale : Applicants will get pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 plus grade pay 4300 per month
Age limit : Candidates age limit should be between 19 to 28 years as on 01 April 2017.
Physical standard: The physical standard of male and female candidates for MPSC Sub Inspector Vacancy are given below
Height – Minimum 165 centimeter for male and 157 centimeter for female candidates.
Chest – Minimum 79 centimeter and expansion 05 centimeter (Only for male).
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay a non refundable application fee of Rs 373 for unreserved and Rs 273 for reserved categories candidates.
Mode of payment : Applicants pay application through online mode using debit card or credit card or internet banking or challan form of state bank of India.
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination, main examination, physical standard test and their performance in interview.
Preliminary examination – 100 marks.
Main examination – 200 marks.
Physical standard test – 100 marks.
Interview – 40 marks.
Exam date: The Police Sub Inspector preliminary examination will be held on 12 March 2017 (Sunday) and main examination will be held on 24 June 2017 (Sunday).
