Job Description
About the internship
We are starting a digital vernacular political analysis channel to breakdown the 'political jumla' going on in the mainstream media and put them against real facts and figures. If you know how to network with 'netas' and put them in difficult situations with your questions, then we are eager to bring you on board.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assess leads and pitch captivating story ideas to the social media team
2. Ensure that you meet all regular and recurring deadlines
3. Review and edit work for editorial approval
4. Use all your findings to prepare clean, concise, and factual articles
5. Adhere to the ethical code of the profession
6. Keep records of all notes, interviews, and audio files
7. Create trustworthy relationships with contacts and sources for use in future research
8. Keep up-to-date on the latest news developments by attending events, studying different papers, opinion pieces, and social media
9. Collect, verify and decipher data

3. are available for duration of 1 month
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Must have a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a relevant field
2. Must have an understanding of on-field reporting experience as a journalist or reporter
3. Must be capable of maintaining an ethical and objective standard in reporting
4. Must have the ability to meet deadlines and accurately fact-check information
5. Must have excellent observation and judgment skills
6. Must have superb communication and networking skills, along with an aptitude to effectively extract information
