Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) invites application for the position Post Doctoral Fellowship
Project: 'Weak Galerkin Finite Element Method for Singular Perturbation Problems: Theoretical Analysis and Numerical Simulation'.

Minimum Qualification and Experience: The prospective candidate should have good publication record in SCI based journals. He/she should have
(a) Ph.D. in Mathematics, Ph.D topic related to Differential Equations/ Computational Mathematics / Numerical Analysis of PDE with a good knowledge (training) of (in) finite element method, Weak Galerkin Finite Element Method and weak solutions to PDEs. Candidates who have recently submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply for the position.
(b) Good publications in SCI journals and experience in developing codes using MATLAB for the numerical simulation of nonlinear problems would be considered as additional merit.
Duration and Fellowship Amount: The duration of the fellowship will be of 1.5 years and may be extendable for one more year, if necessary. The candidate is expected to join the Department as soon as offer letter has been released. The fellow will receive a consolidated fellowship
a. First year: 55,000.00 p.m.
b. Second year: 55,000.00 p.m.
