Critical Care/01 Seat

Qualification : MD/ MS/ DNB/ MCh/ DM from recognised institute or any other qualification approved by the Institute for this purpose from time to time in any of the following specialities‐ Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery and Emergency Medicine.

Palliative Medicine/01 Seat

Qualification : MD/ MS/ DNB/ MCh/ DM from recognised institute or any other qualification approved by the institute for this purpose from time to time in any of the following specialities‐ Radiotherapy, Anaesthesiology, Medicine, and General Surgery.

Age : 45 years

Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100

Fee : I. General / OBC Category : Rs. 1000/- with transaction charges, as applicable. II. SC/ST Category : Rs. 500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable.

Selection procedure: 1. A written Examination based on MCQs in Critical Care / Palliative Medicine (total marks 80) will be conducted if more than 5 candidates. The exact date, time and place will be intimated in due course of time through admit card. 2. Candidates who get 50% marks or more in the written examination will be eligible for consideration for the Interview. The total number of candidates called for the interview will be maximum of three times the number of seats available in the respective category including general. 3. The result of the written examination will be displayed on the notice board of the Examination Section at AIIMS and the Interview will be held on date announced on website. Candidates will be sent intimation about the written examination and/or personal interview through email/post and the same is required to be produce at the time of examination. 4. The Interview will carry 20 marks to be based on Clinical evaluation/Laboratory testing. There is no cut off mark for the interview.
