Faculty:
A minimum of 3 years' and a maximum of 5 years’ post-doctoral experience at a reputed
institution from the date the PhD was awarded, together with an superlative publication record is
a pre-requisite for the post of Assistant Professor.
All appointments are commensurate with experience and will be considered in accordance with
the eligibility criteria above.
Applications reflecting scientific leadership in their field and highlighting teaching experience at
the post graduate level within a research environment will be accorded additional weightage.
Post-Doctoral Fellows
Eligibility: Exceptional and strongly motivated candidates, including recent PhD graduates, who wish to work independently in any of the subject areas listed are invited to apply for Post-doctoral positions. Applications received within 5 years of graduating with a PhD degree will receive full consideration. All appointments are commensurate with experience and will be considered in accordance with the eligibility criteria above.

EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL NUCLEAR PHYSICS
(1) Deep inelastic collisions, quasi-fission and transfer studies in heavy and Superheavy systems (2) Reactions and structure of the trans-actinides (3) In-beam atomic mass measurements of rare nuclides (4) Accelerator physics. Exceptional researchers will have the opportunity to participate in on-going research at international facilities at partnering institutions and/or to participate in R&D for the developing the indigenously built table top accelerator at the Centre into a full-fledged facility.
