Postdoctoral Fellowship  job recruitment in Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)

Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF)

CUSAT offers one Postdoctoral Fellowship in each Department / School / Research Centre in University.

The minimum qualification required for the award of a PDF shall be a recognised Doctoral Degree with at least two research publications in refereed journals. Research experience only after the award of PhD will be considered for PDF.

PDF are awarded @ Rs. 35,000/- per month towards fellowship amount along with an annual Contingency Grant of  Rs. 20,000/-

The maximum age for applying for Postdoctoral Fellowship is limited to 45 years.


PhD Programmes at Inter University Centre for Intellectual Property Rights Studies (IUCIPRS), Campus-1

LLM (IPR) PhD :-  Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 55% from any of the Universities in Kerala or an examination in any other University accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, and should have obtained rank in the Common Admission Test conducted by the University.

LLM (IP) :- PhD Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Political Science, History, Management and Science & Technology with 55% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or an examination of any other Universities accepted by the University as equivalent thereto and should have obtained rank in CAT conducted by the University. In the absence of Students from disciplines mentioned above students with Bachelor’s Degree in Law shall be considered.

Application Fees :

1. For candidates opting for State Merit/All India Quota seats (other than NRI/ International/ PIO/ Children of Indian Gulf Workers):- Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) (Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for Kerala SC/Kerala ST candidates)

2. For seats reserved for International Candidates/PIO:- US$ 100(One Hundred US Dollars only)

3. For candidates belonging to Children of Indian Gulf Workers (CGW) category – Rs.6000/- (Rupees Six Thousand only). In case of CGW candidates belonging to KSC/KST fees is Rs.5500/-

4. For candidates (except CGW candidates) opting for NRI Seats (as per clause 1.1.8):- additional Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) in addition to the fees specified under clause 1.1.7.1. CGW candidates who wish to apply under NRI category need not pay any additional amount.

5. For all category of Candidates opting for Dubai/Abu Dhabi/Sharjah as Test Centre:-Additional fee of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) over and above their respective Application Fee as per Clauses 1.1.7.1 to 1.1.7.4 In case there is no sufficient number of candidates in these Centres, the Centres will be cancelled or merged.

6. For PhD and M Phil Programmes: Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) (Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred only) for Kerala SC/ST Candidates) to be remitted by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, CUSAT payable at Ernakulam Campus Branch and to be submitted to the respective Departments/Schools where the candidate intend to apply for M Phil / Ph D Programme to obtain the Application Forms.

7. For Postdoctoral Fellowships, Diploma and Certificate Programmes: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) (Rs.50/-(Rupees Fifty only) for Kerala SC/ST Candidates) to be remitted by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, CUSAT payable at Ernakuulam and to be submitted to the respective Departments/Schools where the candidate intend to apply for the Programme to obtain the Application Forms.
