1. Good understanding of PostgreSQL Database

2. Exp in creating and maintaining the databases for PostgreSQL on Azure Cloud on IAAS and PaaS Environment.

3. Fulfills user requests ranging from access control, backup, restore, refresh to non-production to performance tuning.

4. Performing regular database backups to ensure data integrity in case of a server crash

5. Monitoring network security to ensure that unauthorized users cannot access the database server

6. Performing regular scheduled maintenance on the database server, such as vacuum analysis on large tables to remove obsolete data

7. Monitoring database performance to identify slowdowns or potential issues

8. Managing users and permissions, including adding new users and removing inactive accounts

9. Managing disaster recovery procedures to ensure that data is safe in case of a physical disaster such as fire or flood

10. Creating database objects such as tables, views, triggers, and indexes

11. Maintaining the database schema, including creating new tables, adding columns to existing tables, and deleting unnecessary tables and data
