Job Description
Ø Working with Sales Team to develop and implement specific produce account specific solutions
Ø Presenting the design and value of proposed solution to customers and prospects
Ø Anticipating technology and/or market trends and provides guidance on their application to external customers and feedback of business requirements back into General Technologies.
Ø Successfully building relationships with sales team members, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives and engages and leverages corporate resources, and personnel as appropriate.
Ø Qualifying sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements
Ø Conducting demonstrations of various technology products to medium/large audiences using customized configurations targeting specific customer requirements.
Ø Articulating the value proposition of products and concepts being presented/demonstrated and map the customer business requirements to products and concepts.
Ø Work with technology vendors to understand new concepts and use them for solutions
Ø Work with customers and General Technologist’s sales team to help customer create business case, ROI, justification, etc.
Ø Work with operations and engineering in evaluating new technologies
Ø Work with sales team in building RFP and tender process to address technical part of the tender.
Ø Client interaction for requirement gathering and understanding existing infrastructure
Ø Should able to conduct Product POCs (Proof of Concept) to customers
Ø Should be able to prepare the B.O.M, RFPs/ RFQs depending on the exact need of the customer
Ø Should be able to analyse the existing RFPs/RFQs which are part of a tender
Ø Provide Technical compliance and competitive analysis of products that are part of the solution.
Ø Should be ready to work for extended hours – in critical situations (on-demand)
Ø Need to attend all the mandatory technical trainings
Ø Able to demonstrate new technologies & train internal staff/customers
Ø Should be able to identify key customer technical objections & resolve technical gaps much in advance .
Ø Travel to customer sites (either within the state/country) and conferences as required & depending on the situation
- Must have 5+ years of experience of working on turnkey System Integration Bids across Government & Corporate accounts.
- Certifications – in Virtualization, Back Up Automation, Servers & Storage Consolidation.
- Hands-On experience of Hypervisors like VMware & HyperV; Backup tools like Veritas & CommVault; Storage Appliances like IBM, Dell EMC & NetAPP; Servers like IBM Power & Dell EMC.
- Should have extreme passion for Technology
- Should be a quick learner & should have the ability to adapt new technical skills
