Qualification : (1) BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or M. Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent in related field with 6 years’ hands-on experience in software development out of which at least 2 years’ in lead position. Or, BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or M. Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent in related field and ME/M. Tech/MS with 3 years’ hands-on experience in software development out of which at least 2 years in lead position. (2) At least 70% marks ( or 7.5 cumulative grade point average out of 10) in all board examinations including B.Tech / B.E./ M.Tech / M.E. (3) Exposure to Knowledge Engineering and excellent analytical capability, problem solving ability and communication skill.

Must have skills in several of the followings: o Architecting complex mass user oriented applications o Leading from front development projects having at least multiple team members o Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in software development using C/C++, Java, SQL and Web Development using PHP o Comprehensive understanding of developing and maintaining large database oriented application systems o Good understanding/exposure to anyone or more of the following areas: o Database Application development o Image processing application development o Web Application development o App development for Android or i-OS or Windows o Modern information retrieval technologies o Machine Learning technologies o Natural language processing o Data analytics o Search engine tuning to optimize search result ranking o System security o System performance tuning o Familiar with modern software engineering practices such as agile methodology, modeling, quality assurance (QA) and test/QA set up Responsibilities for the position are several of the followings: o Hands-on leading/guiding a team of middle level or junior developers involved in prototyping Medical Image Databank in National Digital Library of India o Architecting digital library applications o Search engine tuning to optimize search result ranking o Applying state-of-the-art information retrieval, machine learning and natural language processing techniques to make project deliverables
