Job Description
Skills Required:
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Call Centre experience or telephone customer service experience in a high
volume environment, required. Previous experience in a hospital setting,
preferred.
- Must type accurate, efficient and effective messages on the communications
computer system.
- Ability to operate the phone system, computer, and other related business
equipment.
- Ability to work in flexible hours.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary liaison between the patients
and providers both outside and during regular business hours.
- Must maintain confidentiality of patient, employee or financial records.
- Transfer calls.
- Relay verbal messages.
- Record and deliver messages.
- Call the appropriate person requested by caller.
- Page individuals and inform them of message.
- Date stamp time of call and record in computer system.
- File messages.
- Schedule or cancel appointments.
- Answer caller's questions.
