Product Designer

Bengaluru, Karnataka | Full time

Responsibilities

Responsible for translating business requirements and user needs into innovative design solutions including user experience design specifications that are engaging, valuable and usable
Review requirements and assists in identifying various usage scenarios and underlying user and business needs
Contribute to proposal ideation and concept generation
Create project briefs, presentations, user flows, user journeys, site maps, screen flows, taxonomies, wireframe specifications and other necessary documentation to communicate the recommended user experience to internal stakeholders and development teams
Conduct, improve designs and balance recommendations with research, analytics, usability testing, customer insights and other quantitative/qualitative insights such as design standards, technology trends, and competitor evaluations
Assist in QA to make sure features are implemented as intended and troubleshoot design issues with developers and QA engineers
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business team members on business cases, product requirements, development, launch, and adoption
Create and prepare assets for implementation by our software developers
Keep up to date with the latest UI design and usability trends and techniques
Take ownership of, and lead internal projects and see them through conclusion
Work seamlessly with other teams

Requirements :

Proficiency of English - Clear oral and written communication skills
2+ years of proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role that is preferably focused on B2B/SaaS/Enterprise applications
A strong portfolio of successful UX Visual design deliverables with a proven experience in designing desktop/web apps
Proficiency in Figma (Auto layout, libraries, prototyping, etc.)
Fluency in UX methods and tools. Ability to orchestrate unified experiences throughout the user journey while knowing how to embody specific solutions in a usable and delightful interaction
Experience in creating user flows, lo/hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, responsive designs and design systems; and working knowledge of grid principles
Problem-solving attitude, business acumen and a natural curiosity for how experiences come together. Using a generative approach to solve problems in the best way possible through iteration, even if it means working against your personal bias
Global mindset: able to appreciate differences in market needs, competitive environment, and cultural norms across multiple countries and sectors
Extremely proactive; take personal ownership for producing positive results
Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport and establish credibility with team members
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires independent self-direction with excellent time management, attention to detail and an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication
Has a passion for learning new skills and expanding their knowledge
Brownie points for working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS
