- Manages and coordinates product development projects.
- Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
- Ensures that labelling and marketing/promotional literature match product specifications.
- Researches and monitors existing client base and industry developments and identifies potential new product opportunities.
- Works with other departments to establish a design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy.
- Manages project budgets and prepares financial analysis reports for top management.
- Responsible for design, development and execution of new products in assigned categories for core and private label lines to include:
- Communicating with factories the product specifications of proposed new
- product. Monitoring, tracking and organizing of all approved proposed
- new product samples and collect costs.
- Accurately complete item set up requirements and all related documents;
- communicate to procurement, quality department, marketing and sales.www-tejind-com
- Graduate from an Engineering background having decent technical knowledge of CNC’s, VMC's and HMC's (basically experienced in a CNC shop) and excellent communication skills (both written & oral).
- Candidate having bold, dynamic & presentable personality.
- At least 4-5 years of experience & must be computer literate.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
- Should be good at AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft word.
