Job Description :

Design and develop new products. Develop and improve existing products in line with the current design trends and developments.
Present the product using hand sketches; Computer-aided design (AutoCAD, 3D Max, Photoshop, Sketch up and so forth); Presentation Boards(mood board/inspiration board/ story board).
Have a thorough understanding of materials (wood, metal, plastic, fabric, foam and so forth); furniture hardware; and the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Understand production techniques and the ability to develop detailed shop drawings (product component drawings and connection detailing).
Prepare detailed technical specification for the product.
Develop product prototypes along with the production team and ensure the final product meets the design criteria.
Prepare all the required printed information of the product for the customer.
