Know The Business Function

You will be working as part of the Delivery Partner Experience product team. In the Delivery Partner experience team at Swiggy, we build products for India’s largest fleet of 250K+ active delivery partners. It involves building products that help delivery partners do their day to day work at Swiggy and earn their living. This requires us to solve numerous real world challenges ranging all the way from vagaries of indian traffic, roads and addresses to helping delivery partners with tools that can maximize their earnings. And all of this in a real time on-demand world!! Some of the work ahead for this team will be building products that train a delivery partner (personalised and contextual ), motivates them (incentive design, gamification), gives them feedback (real-time performance and coaching) and even listens to their troubles (chatbot support, team collaborations).

As a Product Marketing Manager at Swiggy, these are the things that we will be expecting from you:

Identifying the needs for different user segments through detailed market, competition and consumer study.

Work closely with the product managers and shaping the product strategy by bringing in the deep consumer and market insights.

Building detailed customer personas for your products and defining the product positioning for the target personas.

Building an exciting and engaging product narrative by driving the communication & messaging strategy for the product

Own the Go To Market strategy including roll out, pre-launch, launch and post launch marketing communications, PR (content and timing) and product readiness.

Driving post launch improvements by clearly identifying the gaps/improvement areas in the product and product positioning/messaging through a deep understanding of customer beliefs about the product.

An Ideal Candidate Will Have

Bachelor's degree. A degree in Computer Science or related fields, or postgraduate degree is an added plus.

3 - 5 years of hands-on Product Marketing experience either as part of the product team or marketing team

Worked on complex cross functional products and went through the whole product journey of defining user needs, product positioning and driving go to market.

Willingness and know-how to deeply understand the market, consumers and competition to then integrate these insights into the product development and marketing Strategies

Great at articulating the essence of products and the value they create and develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective communication strategy plan

Great at looking at data the right way and crafting insightful stories without any help. SQL chops are an added plus!And finally, an ‘Owner’ personality who is heavily biased towards action and is a great collaborator!
