Who Are We?

We are an E-commerce company based in Toronto Canada and we currently sell in USA/ Canada. Our manufacturing is based in China but are likely to look into Vietnam and India as well. We are adding new products this year and need an expert in sourcing who can deal with

Timing & Work-Load:

You must be reasonably available and highly responsive as much as possible from 8PM-4AM EST time Sun-Thursday.
You may need to be occasionally availability on weekends to get through tasks and make schedule changes.
During the working week, you are expected to be awake during China time
This position is a full-time. You will be on probation initially.

Job Description:

who is expert in finding suppliers from Alibaba and negotiating price with suppliers from China or US/ Canada.
Know the process in detail and the terminology such as MOQ, RFQ, EXW, freight Forwarder, Bill of landing etc.
Follow up emails and getting things done without much delay.
Creating and Updating data in Excel
Have used Trello and can follow instructions from skype voice recordings
Be highly proactive, create systems and processes, and take on tasks to reduce the workload
Ensure all assigned projects are delivered on-time and within budget

You as a person:

You are extremely proactive. You are always looking to improve and make things.
You are highly organized using modern technology and your own systems or work methodologies. You are the type of person to have a to-do list for your to-do list
You have outstanding communication and time management skills. You execute many tasks with no problem and juggle hundreds of small things at once. 600 to-do items can be thrown your way with various timelines and you can handle them all.

P.S: This job will be a 1-3 month probation period, followed by negotiation for long-term work.
