Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Production control Specialist – CA7, will be primarily responsible for maintaining and performing day-to-day scheduling administration for an assigned set of customers, in addition to other production support duties as required. You will be working with various project teams on system upgrades and changes, disaster recovery drills, major customer changes, migrations, decommissions, etc. Attendance in project meetings and the completion of project deliverables pertaining to supported tasks is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Administrative experience with job scheduling on CA-7
  • Perform scheduling package database, calendar, maintenance and jobs
  • Set up new jobs, deleting, modifying existing jobs on CA7
  • Troubleshoot and solve scheduling issues and conflicts
  • Adding Triggers, requirements and schedule the jobs
  • Analysis and perform acceptable condition code
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 3 - 4 years of shown experience with CA7 Scheduling / Production support
  • Willingness to work on 24x7 production environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and monitor Batch, and support team members
  • Demonstrate ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer requests, own the request through successful completion
  • Proficient with JCL, TSO, ISPF
  • Experience with establishing and documenting policies and procedures pertaining to automated scheduling and other production support analyst duties
  • Solid understanding of documentation and production support activities
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork skills
