Job Description
- Ensure that Information Technology function strives to exceed customer expectations through effective process management of request pipeline.
- Possess a solid understanding pipeline of requests inflow coming to all information technology functions including, but not limited to, business systems, end-user access and productivity, cloud infrastructure, corporate network, and information security.
- Partner with IT leaders to strive for process and platform consistency in tracking service requests, incidents, changes, enhancements and defects.
- Understand staff/resources that support each of the functions. Report on IT throughput of requests, resources, and details on available capacity or backlog for each of the workstreams.
- Identify and categorize the demands into various categories such as enhancements, defects, features, etc.
- Proficient in using the modules of ITBM such as agile, demand, project management.
- Utilize the functional modules in ServiceNow to track changes, defects, incidents, service requests, and enhancement volumes for each of the workstreams.
- Create dashboard views for customer reporting, IT effectiveness reporting and periodic reviews with the IT Leadership Team and the CIO.
- Build scheduled and on-demand reports using ServiceNow and Sheets.
- Integrate productivity and utilization metrics as provided by MSPs for Global Service Desk and Network Infrastructure operations.
- Liaise with each of the business teams to identify opportunities for automation, service.
- Champion the business analysis and the construct of the ServiceNow modules specifically to effect metrics reporting.
- Partner with the IT Program Management office to integrate the efforts of the non-project portfolio with the projects portfolio.
- Appreciate and report the distribution of IT resource cost between run the business and sell/grow the business.
- Be savvy to work through the Matrixed Organization.
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience. Financial and Budget Management Skills are nice to have.
- At least 7 years of related experience with at least 2+ years in management reporting of business operations.
- Excel with Excel, Presentation and Dashboard skills.
- You are a super communicator.
- Solid understanding of Service, Incident, Change, Enhancement and Project Lifecycles.
- A significant match up of experience with the above-mentioned Job Responsibilities.
- Awareness of business systems, cloud business, and experience with high technology organizations.
