Essential Qualification:
(i) An eminent scholar having Post graduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Human genetics/
Genetics/Zoology /Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology/
Physiology/Biophysics or allied subjects,
(ii) Ph.D. degree and or post-doctoral research experience in the area of Human Genetics/
Cell Biology/immunology/Genomics or allied areas as evident from high quality
publications.
(iii) A minimum of ten years of teaching/Research experience as per stipulated guidelines.
(iv) Research supervision as evidence of guiding PhD students as per norms.
Desirable
(i) Research Experience in Human Genetics/Molecular Biology
(ii) A short research proposal outlining future plans to build up this emerging
Department and outreach activity.
Associate Professor (No of post along with category)
Essential Qualification:
(i) Post graduate Degree (M.Sc.) in Human genetics/ Genetics/Zoology/Biochemistry
/ Molecular Biology / Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Biophysics or allied subjects.
(ii) Ph.D. Research in the area of Human Genetics/Molecular Biology /allied areas as
evident from high quality publications.
(iii) A minimum of eight years of teaching/research experience as per stipulated
guidelines.
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Research Experience in Molecular Biology/Human Genetics/emerging areas of
Human Genetics.
(ii) Post-doctoral Research Experience in the above areas
Assistant Professor (No of post along with category)
Essential Qualification:
(i) Post graduate (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology/Human genetics/ Genetics/Zoology
/Biochemistry / Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Biophysics or allied subjects.
(ii) Area of Specialization /Domain Knowledge: Molecular Biology/Human genetics/
Genetics/Zoology /Biochemistry / Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Biophysics or
allied subjects.
(iii) NET/SET/Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology/ Human genetics / allied discipline
as per UGC norms.
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Ph.D. in the area of any emerging areas of Human Genetics/Molecular Biology
