Professor Level 14

Qualification : A PhD in Life Science / allied discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in teaching and research with evidence of attracting extramural grants.

Experience : For Direct Recruitment: a. A minimum of 10 years of teaching / research experience. b. An outstanding professional, with an established reputation in the field related to biotechnology and contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology–mediated teaching/ learning process.

Age : 55 - 60 years

Associate Professor Level 13A

Qualification : A PhD in Life Science / allied discipline with evidence of independent research and publications of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of attracting extramural grants.

Experience : For Direct Recruitment: a. A minimum of 6 years of teaching / research experience. b. A professional with demonstrated expertise in the field related to biotechnology and contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology–mediated teaching / learning process. For Deputation: Officers from the central / state government or institutes of national importance or universities / university level institution, research institutions or PSU a) holding analogous post or 5-years’ experience in the lower scale. b) possessing educational qualification as prescribed for the post.

Age : 50 - 60 years

Assistant Professor Level 12

Qualification : An excellent academic record with a PhD Degree in Life Science/allied discipline and evidence of high quality research training in the form of scientific publications or patents.

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of productive post-doctoral research work or equivalent experience as a Sr. lecturer / Lecturer teaching post-graduate students.

Age : 45 years
