Eligibility: A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. / M.S. or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto. Candidate should have completed total 14 years, 06 years and 03 years of teaching and / research experience after prescribed post graduation at a recognised teaching institution for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, respectively as on 15.10.2018 OR 12 years, 04 years and 01 year of teaching and / research experience after obtaining the degree of D.M. / M.Ch. (2 years duration) in the concerned speciality at a recognized teaching institution for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor respectively OR 11 years, 03 years and 0 (nil) teaching and / research experience after obtaining the degree of D.M. / M.Ch. (3 years duration) in the respective speciality at a recognized teaching institution for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor respectively.

In subjects where Post-Postgraduate qualification is not yet prescribed by MCI, three years post M.D. / M.S. experience in concerned specialty as Senior Resident at a institute recognized by MCI for the purpose will be accepted in lieu of such qualification for the post of Assistant Professor. Prescribed duration of experience will be determined as per institute rules.
