Qualification :   Medical Candidates:  (i) a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.  (ii) For Dentistry: A Post Graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.  Essential for Non- Medical Candidates : (i) A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and  (ii) A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline.

Associate Professor

Qualification :   Essential for Medical Candidates: (i) a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline. (ii) For Dentistry: A Post Graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.

Assistant Professor

Qualification :   Medical Candidates: (i) a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline. (ii) For Dentistry: A Post Graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline. Essential for Non - Medical Candidates :  (i) A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and  (ii) A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline.

Emoluments :

Professor : Rs.177000 per month

Associate Professor : Rs.116000 per month

Assistant Professor : Rs.101000 per month

Age Limit :   50-67 years (relaxable up to five years for employees of the ESIC & Govt. Servants, in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt. from time to time).
