Professor / Associate Professor  job opportunities in  National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training & Research (NITTTR), Kolkata

Qualification :  Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout. In addition, for:

Professor :  Ten years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor in Central Institutes / state universities.

Associate Professor :  Six years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor in Central Institutes/State Universities.

Desirable :  1. Experience in technical teachers’ training, in designing curriculum of Engineering and Polytechnic colleges; 2. Research in the field of Technical Education;  3. Integration of Information Technology in the specific area of specialization; 4. Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/Research (Ph. D) Students or supervising R & D projects in industry; 5. Capacity to undertake/ lead sponsored R & D consultancy and related activities; and 6. National/International Projects handling.

Pay scales admissible at the time of joining are as follows:

Professor :  14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,11,800)

Associate Professor :  13A (Rs. 1,31,400 – Rs. 2,04,700)
