Professor/Hindi Editor /Registrar/Associate Professor
Professor (Pay Matrix – Academic Level 14) No. of posts: 04 (UR-01, OBC-01, SC-01, EWS-01)
Qualification: (i) An eminent scholar in Social Sciences preferably with specialization in education related areas having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in the UGC Guidelines, 2018. Out of the four posts, one post is for Director, Centre for Policy Research in Higher Education (CPRHE): (ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
B. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience. II). Desirable (only for the post of Director, CPRHE): a.) 4-5 years’ experience as Professor or equivalent post. b.) Academic Administration experience.
Associate Professor (Pay Matrix – Academic Level 13A) No. of posts: 03 (UR-02, SC-01)
Essential Qualifications: (i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. (ii) A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). (iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in the UGC Guidelines, 2018
Registrar (Pay Matrix – Level 14) No. of post: 01 Age: Not more than 57 years (for a tenure of 5 years)
Qualification: 1) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system in followed. 2) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department Or At least fifteen (15) years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 7,000/-) and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 8,000/-) and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. Or Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education Or Fifteen (15) years of administrative experience, of which eight (08) years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in Level 12 with Rationalised Entry Pay of Rs. 78,800/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus AGP of Rs. 7,600/-)
Finance Officer (Pay Matrix – Level 11) No. of post: 01 (Tenure) Age limit: Preferably not more than 55 years (as on the closing date for the receipt of application) I).
Essential Qualifications: At least a 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years’ experience in supervisory level in accounts and finance in a government organization or an autonomous body. II). Desirable: (i) MBA (Finance)/ICWA/CA/SAS. (ii) Knowledge of Computer and Tally Package/any other accounting package
Hindi Editor (Pay Matrix – Level 10) No. of post: 01
Age: Not more than 35 years
I). Essential Qualifications: (i) At least 2nd class post-graduate in Hindi. (ii) Should have studied English up to Degree level (iii) At least five years’ experience in writing, editing, compiling, proof reading, translation and publication of journals, books, monographs, etc., in a government organization or private organization of repute. II). Desirable: (i) Doctoral degree in Hindi. (ii) Knowledge of printing and production. (iii) Degree/Diploma in Journalism/ Book-publishing. (iv) At least one modern Indian language other than Hindi. (v) Knowledge of the provisions of Official Languages Act. 1963 and Rules for increasing the use of Hindi.
