Post Name: Professor (Plant Pathology) on Contractual basis

Period of Contract: 01 (One) year The contract can be terminated by either side at any time, by giving one month's notice. The University can terminate the contract immediately, by paying one month's agreed remuneration in lieu of the notice period.
Job Location: College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Barapani, Central Agricultural University, Imphal
Qualifications: The applicant should be an Indian national. Ph.D. in Agricultural Plant Pathology with experience of working in Public Sector, Agricultural Universities or Research Institutions in the rank of Professor/equivalent post at pay Level-14 and above for 10 years on regular basis. to the candidates having well experience in Preference will be give planning and execution of Research and Extension activities.
Remuneration & Entitlements: of Rs. 82,500/- per month will be paid and other service conditions will be as per existing rules of the University for contract Remuneration appointment.

The Central Agricultural University has been established by an act of Parliament, the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (No.40 of 1992). The Act came into effect on 26th January, 1993 with the issue of notification by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Govt. of India. The University became functional with the joining of first Vice-Chancellor on 13th September, 1993. The jurisdiction of the University extends to six North-Eastern Hill States viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim and Tripura, with headquarters at Imphal in Manipur.
