Responsibilities :

• Drives curriculum planning and assessment for the computer programming courses
• Provides vision and leadership promoting consensus building and collaboration.
• Assists the Company in building a solid foundation for growth of technology programs.
• Researches/scans external environments to keep abreast of current trends and need for future educational services in field.
• Resolves student complaints and other issues.
• Mentors undergraduate majors in computer programming and computer science.
• Fosters and promotes diversity and collegiality among faculty, students, and staff and is an advocate for change.
• Ability to translate the Company’s mission and values into action.
• Sets and achieves goals for programs that support the Company’s strategic plan, acquires necessary resources, and ensures goals are attainable.
• Develops and adheres to budget and targets; makes accurate predictions about future trends and developments.
• Develops new insights into situations and applies innovative solutions to make organizational improvements; and anticipates and overcomes barriers.
• Creates a work environment that encourages creative thinking and innovation.

Educational Qualification:

• An extensive, advanced and current knowledge of computer programming and computer science or closely related field.
  
• Deep knowledge of C, C++ and JAVA.
  
• Understanding of the various methods of adult learning, education deployment/delivery including distance education/online services and classroom.
  
• Knowledgeable of government regulations with regard to higher education.
  
• Superior communications and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  
• An ability to teach undergraduate, graduate and corporate.
