Professors

No. of Posts :  14

Qualifications :  Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related discipline with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in either Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline (based on publication of five international journal papers, each journal having a cumulative impact index of not less than 2.0, with candidate as the main author). OR (for the Candidates from Industry or profession) 1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Architecture/Planning/ Engineering / Technology or related discipline with minimum 60% in aggregate. 2. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of Architecture etc.

Experience :  Minimum of 10 years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. OR Minimum of 13 years’ experience in teaching and/ or research and/ or Industry OR In case of research experience, good academic record and books/ research paper publications/ IPR/ patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. If the experience in industry is considered the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/ designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/ research paper publications/ IPR/ patents, etc., as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. Professional practice of 10 years after registration with the Council of Architecture.

Desirable :   1. Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization. 2. Published work, such as research papers, patents filled/obtained, books and/or technical reports. 3. Experience of guiding project work/dissertation of PG/Research students or supervising R & D projects in industry. 4. Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and/or professional activities. 5. Capacity to undertake/lead sponsored R & D, consultancy and related activities.

Pay Scale :  Pay Level 14 as per 7 th CPC (Rs.1,44,200/- Rs.2,11,800/-)

Associate Professors

No. of Posts :  13

Qualification :  Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related discipline with minimum of 60% in aggregate and Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline (based on publication of five international journal papers, each journal having a cumulative impact index of not less than 2.0, with candidate as the main author). OR (for the Candidates from Industry or profession) 1.Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Architecture/Planning /Engineering/Technology or related discipline with minimum of 60% in aggregate 2. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of Architecture or related discipline

Experience :  Minimum five years’ of teaching/ research/ industrial experience, if possessing a Ph.D. Degree. OR Industrial/professional experience of eight years, in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor, if not possessing a Ph.D. Degree.

Assistant Professors

No. of Posts :  18

Qualifications :  Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related discipline with minimum of 60% in aggregate either in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree. OR Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Engineering or technology with minimum of 60% in aggregate, either in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree. OR Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Fine Arts with specialization in painting sculpture, applied art or art history & art criticism, with minimum of 60% in aggregate, either in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

Desirable :  1. Teaching, research industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization. 2. Papers presented at conferences and/or published in refereed journals.

Pay Scale :  Pay Level 10 as per 7 th CPC (Rs.57,700/- Rs.98,200/-)
