Job Description
- The Associate will be a part of the programme’s central management team.
- The key focus areas of the Programme Associate will be to contribute in the
operations, implementation and reporting aspects of the programme, and create
and oversee efficient processes in that regard.
- Additionally, as part of the
central management team, the Associate will also be required to contribute to
programme communications and monitoring, to be involved with program team and
better understand the programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and oversee processes to properly document programme activities at various levels
- Create reports and presentations to document programme activities on an ad hoc basis
- Travel to field locations to review the programme and assist with operations
- Assist program manager/lead in key program areas including hiring, training, coaching, preparing plan of action, communicating job expectations, monitoring and reviewing contributions
- Prepare drafts and review program budget. Ensure timely corrections if required
- Team building and management
- Support to draft proposals to the grant making organizations working in similar areas
- Assist preparing quarterly and annual program reports as per the requirement of the organization and donors
- Act as a liaison between the team, beneficiaries and donors
- Program supervision, monitoring and strategizing to ensure that milestones and targets are being met
- Organize or facilitate related events
- Provide support on projects that cut across other departments of the organization
- Support the Central Team as required
