Job Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Program Manager

Shift Timings : 2pm to 11pm

Role and Responsibilities

Manage the Software development lifecycle which includes scheduling, capacity management, and coordinating releases across multiple applications/platforms .

Build and maintain a release calendar by working closely with the Product/Marketing/Customer Service Managers and Engineering Managers

Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across multiple applications

Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes

Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans for consumption by the change management team in Infrastructure/Operations group.

Weekly Release Reporting

Negotiate, plan and manage all release night activities

Work with engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges

Participate in meetings to discuss release scope and roadblocks, take ownership of action item and communicate decisions across all Product, Marketing, CIO and CS organizations.

Maintains the software component repository and manages key information such as build and release dependencies between software Bachelor's degree . Information Systems or Computer Science related fields preferred.

15+ years of previous release and/or technical project management experience

18-22 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development

Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion

Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills

Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
