Programme Lead/ Specialists job recruitment in Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)

Qualification : Highly proficient professionals (based in Mumbai or willing to relocate to Mumbai), with adept analytical skills and strong research and academic rigour.  Minimum masters degree in social sciences or allied areas from a reputed institution.  For programme lead and specialist positions, a minimum work experience of 5 years (full time) and 2 years (full time) for young professional respectively is required,  The basic qualification for both positions requires the candidate to have atleast a Master’s degree and relevant work experience with academic institutions/ government agencies/ international organizations or non-governmental organizations.  Possess multi-sectoral understanding of development sector.  Candidates with multi – sectoral competencies and exposure shall be given preference.  Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and to establish harmonious and effective working relationships with partner organizations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint, and Excel.

Other Skills and Attributes (preferable): Good communication skills in written and spoken English and atleast one regional language.  Pleasant, confident, proactive personality.  Willingness to travel to all parts of India.  Willingness to collaborate with individuals and teams constituting diverse backgrounds. High level of integrity, commitment and sensitivity to social issues.

Remuneration: Rs.40,000/- to Rs. 60,000 /- per month.
