Junior Research Fellow

Project Title  : 

1. Preparation of Spectral Library of forest tree species of Himalayan Region (GAP-0201)

2. National Mission on Himalayan Studies (GAP-0199)

3. Bringing Back the Real Green : Eradicating Invastive Species and Restoring Ecosystem through Community Participation (GAP-0235)

4. High Throughout genotyping to expedite the genetic characterization and dissection of important agronomic traits of tea (GAP-0224)

Qualification : Post graduate in Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science/Ecology/ Remote Sensing/ Geography/ Geology / Biotechnology/ any branch of Biological Science or equivalent with 55% marks and CSIR/ UGC-NET/ LS qualified or having equivalent fellowship or  M.Tech in in Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ GIS or equivalent with 55 % marks

Desirable : Candidates having experience in the area of Remote Sensing and GIS will be preferred.

Stipend : Rs.25,000/-

Qualification : Postgraduate in Botany / Forestry / Ecology / Agriculture / Biochemistry Remote Sensing or equivalent with 55% marks. M.Tech. B.Tech. (Computer / IT) / MCA or equivalent with 55% of marks.

Desirable : Candidates having experience in the area of Remote Sensing and GIS yell be preferred
