Project Assistant/Project Technician III

Project Technician III/ No.of. Post: 03

Essential Qualification 12th Standard pass in science subjects with any one of the following (i) Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or (ii) One year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology + one year experience in a recognized organization or (iii) Two years field/laboratory experience* in Government recognized organization . B.Sc., degree shall be treated as 03 years experience

Desirable Preference will be given to candidates with fluency in spoken Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and English.

Consolidated Salary: 18,000/- (Plus HRA)

Nature of duties Collection of blood samples for filariasis tests, collection of blood smears on filter paper and slides, processing of slides and microscopic examination of parasite, collect vector mosquitoes in the field, process mosquito samples for DNA extraction and PCR assays

Consolidated Salary 31,000/-

Nature of duties To lead and supervise the field teams in carrying Out mosquito /human blood survey, maintenance of trapping devices, storing of mosquito samples for PCR assay, conducting filariasis tests, collecting blood samples in filter papers and slides, processing blood slides for examination and consolidate daily collection reports .
