Project Assistant / Scientist B job Position in Regional Medical Research Centre NE Region on temporary basis

Project Title  :  'Operational feasibility of additional intervention package for accelerated malaria control in areas with Jhum cultivators in Tripura”

1. Scientist B (Non Medical)

Qualification : 1st Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 2 (two) years of research experience in relevant field Or 2nd Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences with PhD Degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.

Desirable : i) Experience in project management & field based studies (ii) Research experience in the field of malaria/ vector borne diseases/ public health research (iii) Knowledge of data analysis, scientific paper writing experience.

Salary: Rs. 48,000/- + HRA per month (consolidated)

Age Limit :  Not Exceeding 35 years

2. Project Assistant (Statistical Assistant & Technical Assistant)

No. of Posts  :  02 (two) posts  (1 UR & 1 OBC) 

Qualification :  Graduate in Computer Applications/ Statistics/ Bioinformatics from a recognized university with 3 (three) years work experience from a recognized institution.  Or Masters degree Computer Applications/ Statistics/ Bioinformatics from a recognized university

Desirable : (i) Experience in data entry and database management (ii) Experience in Biostatistical data analysis, (iii) Experience in health related mobile applications (iv) Knowledge of office administrative work (v) Knowledge of computer applications.

Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month (consolidated)

Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

3. Project Assistant (Research Assistant)

Qualification: Graduate in Life Sciences/ Medical Laboratory technology/ Biotechnology from a recognized university with 3 (three) years work experience from a recognized institution. Or Masters degree in Life Sciences/ Medical Laboratory technology/ Biotechnology from a recognized university

Desirable : (i) Experience in the field of molecular biology or entomological or malaria parasitological work (ii) Knowledge of computer applications.

Salary :  Rs. 31,000/- per month (consolidated)

Age Limit :  Not exceeding 30 years
