Name of the project :  “Kappaphygus alvarezii and red sea weed based formulations for improving productivity of dairy animals and poultry” (Sub component: To study the effect of Kappaphygus alvarezii based feed additives on production and health of dairy animals)

Essential Qualification: M.V.Sc/M.Sc degree in any one of the following disciplines/subject Animal Nutrition /Animal Physiology/ Animal Genetics and Breeding/Livestock Production and Management/Animal Biochemistry/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Husbandry and Dairying/ Animal Sciences/Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Zoology /Environmental Sciences etc. with Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.

Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in area of ruminant nutrition with knowledge of related analytical techniques and evidence from publications.

Emoluments : Rs. 25,000/- Per Month Plus HRA

Essential Qualification : M.Tech/M.Sc degree in any one discipline/subject Dairy Engineering/ Dairy Technology /Dairy Chemistry/Food Technology /Food Engineering and Technology with CGPA of at least 6.5 or equivalent percentage from a university or an affiliated Institute. OR Candidates having post graduate degree in any one of above discipline with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to the candidates with B.Tech Dairy Technology and M.Tech Dairy Engineering degree

Essential Qualification: Ph.D degree in any one of following discipline/subject Animal Biotechnology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences supported by Ph.D thesis work or research papers in the field, area of Proteomics/Gene protein expression analysis & Bioinformatics. OR Master’s Degree in any one of following discipline /subject Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship in the field/area of Proteomics, Gene protein expression analysis & Bioinformatics.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in Mass Spectrometry for analysis of proteins and metabolites

OR First class master degree in any one of following discipline/ subject Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics /Life Sciences with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks with at least two years of research experience in the field/area of Proteomics/ Genomics/ Structural Biology / Bioinformatics.

Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable Qualification : Candidate having knowledge in Remote Sensing/GIS, computer software preferably programming language. Knowledge in software like ERDAS, ENVI, ARCGIS, surveying for data collection, remote sensing data analysis/computation in computer software etc. Having experience in remote sensing data analysis.

Emoluments : Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA for 1  and 2 year, Rs. 28,000/- per month for 3 year.
