Cochin Shipyard Limited, a listed premier Mini Ratna Company of Government of India, invites Online applications to the following posts of Project Assistants for appointment on contract basis
The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall be 30 years as on 20 June 2020.
1. Mechanical /2 posts (1 UR, 1 EWS)
Electrical/2 posts (1 UR, 1 EWS)
Electronics/ 1 post (UR)
Essential: Three year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education. Desirable: Basic computer knowledge and knowledge to work in SAP system. Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Engineering Company/ Commercial Organisation/ Network Service Provider Companies/ Government/Semi-Government Companies / Establishments. Desirable: a) Expertise in carrying out trouble shooting electronics to component level.b) Knowledge in the latest security systems and its maintenance.
Information Technology/ 1 post (UR)
Essential: Three year Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Technology with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education. Desirable: a) Any additional qualification related to IT/Computer Science. b) Adequate knowledge in SAP.
Essential: Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a Shipyard/ Engineering Company/ Commercial Organisation / Network Service Provider Companies/ Government/Semi-Government Company / Establishment. Experience shall be in matters relating to following functions :- a) IT systems and Network support, b) End user support and trouble shooting, c) Website management, d) ERP system support, e) Office work, creation of files, registers, records management and report generation, f) Maintenance of all systems as per ISO standards
