Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned projects of CSIR-CSMCRI by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India project entitled 'Mitigation of salinity stress tolerance in Sesamum indicum L. using a novel ABA-dependent SbMYB44 transcription factor from halophyte Salicornia brachiata” and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi project entitled “Genome sequencing of Recreto halophyte Aeluropus lagopoides (L.) trin. Ex Thw. (Poaceae)” at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
Project Associate 1: (1 Post)
Qualification*: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Life Science / Microbiology /Botany/ Biochemistry.
Emoluments: DST Project Associate-I: ₹ 31,000+HRA/- per month
Age limit*:35 years (Project Associate-I)
Project Assistant II: (1 Post)
Qualification*:M.Sc. with 55% marks in Biotechnology/ Life Science / Microbiology /Botany/ Biochemistry.
Emoluments:CSIR Project Assistant-II: ₹ 31,000+HRA/- per month
Age limit*:30 years (Project Assistant -II)
Research Associate I: (1 Post)
Qualification*:Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Life Science / Botany/ Biochemistry/ Plant Science/ Biological Science. Two publications in SCI journal is essential.
Emoluments:CSIR Research Associate-I: ₹ 47000/- per month)
Age limit*: 35 years (Research Associate-I)
