1. Name of the Post: Project Associate-I Agricultural Science

3. Name of the Project: DBT project entitled "Early life nutritional intervention to reduce methane emission and improve feed efficiency in goats"
4. Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Natural or Agricultural Science/ M.V.Sc. or Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
5. Desirable: Experience of working with In Vitro gas fermentation test, Gas chromatograph, SF6 Technique, Feed and fodder analysis, Molecular biology technique like DNA extraction, metagenomics Animal experimentation, rumen liquor/feces/urine analysis etc. and computer (MS-Office, SPSS/SAS package.
6. Pay (Consolidated):
(i) Rs31.000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through
(a) National Eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or GATE
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) Rs.25,000/- HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Age Limit:
Not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women (Relaxable for SCIST/OBC/PWEWS candidates as per rules).
