Job Description
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for one post of Project Associate-I/JRF in DBT funded w network project entitled "Germplasm Characterization and Trait Discovery in Wheat using Genomics Approaches and its Integration for Improving Climate Resilience, productivity and Nutritional quality". The position is temporary and co-terminus with the completion of and the appointees shall have no claim for their absorption in SKUAST-Kashmir.
1. Position: Project Associate- I/JRF for first 2 years and Project Associate-I I/SRF for 3rd Year onwards
2. Essential qualification M.Sc. Agriculture (Genetics & Plant Breeding) /Plant Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/BiotechnoIogy/Plant Pathology with NET
3. Desirable: Experience in Molecular Plant Breeding/ Wheat Breeding/Breeding ror Disease Resistance in wheat
4. Emolument (Rs) 31,000 + HRA PM for first 2 years and Project Associate- II/SRF with Rs. 35000 + HRA PM for 3rd year onward.
5. Note: {The above salary will be paid only if the qualifications met. are other"'ise pre-revised salary will be paid as per guidelines of funding agency. )
