Qualification and Experience: MD/ M.V.Sc. / Ph.D. in virology with minimum 15 years of experience in academia/pharma industry in human / animal virology/ vaccine production.

2. Post Name: Project Scientist I
No of Post: 1
Project Name: Genomic surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 in India: Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics consortium (INSACOG)
Qualification and Experience: Doctoral degree in science or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable: Execution and co-ordination of high throughput sequencing project. Hands on experience on NGS platform and data analysis
Emoulments: Rs.56,000/-
3. Post Name: Project Associate I
No of Post: 3
Project Name: Genomic surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 in India: Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics consortium (INSACOG)
Qualification and Experience: Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural sciences /MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in RNA extraction, sample preparation for NGS platform / analysis of sequence data, working with infectious agents will be desirable.
Emoulments:
(i) Rs. 31000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Age Limit: Upper Age Limit: 62 years
