Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO) invites application for the position Project Associate II
Name of the Scheme/Project: CSIR Project - Edible and biodegradable materials for electrostatic coating of fruits and vegetables
Positions & Stipend/Emoluments: Project Associate – II
(I) Rs. 35,000/- + HRAto Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions. (II) 28000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Tenure/ Project Duration (Tentative): 30th June, 2022
Essential Qualification: BE/ BTech in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ VLSI Design/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation/ Control system or Equivalent And 2 years’ experience in Research andDevelopment in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organization and Scientific activities and services.
Desirable: Strong background of design of experiments (DoE), theoretical calculations, problem formulation and solving skills, data analysis & interpretation. Experience in sample handling of fruits and vegetables, electrostatic spraying technologyand its applications. OrCAD, PCB and VLSI design, MATLAB, COMSOL, hardware and electronic design tools, embedded system, high voltage engineering, statistics and optimization techniques, data analysis and interpretation etc. Candidate with good academic record will be preferred. GATE/NET qualified candidates will be preferred.
Age Limit: Upper age limit as on last date of receipt of applications: 35 years
