Job Description
1. Designation: Project Associate
2. Positions to be filled: One
3. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor of Planning or Master of Planning degree from a reputed academic institution.
4. Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in development plan preparation is desirable.
5. Contract Period: One year initially extendable by another one year.
6. Skills: High quality written and verbal communication; AutoCAD and GIS based plan making and design skills. Willingness to work in the field is absolutely necessary.
7. Salary: INR 35,000 for Bachelor of Planning and INR 40,000 for Master of Planning per month.
8. Start Date: The selected candidate will have to Start as early as possible, but not later than 10 days from the receipt of appointment letter. Having joined the position, at least one year's commitment is required.

It was later affiliated to the University of Delhi and integrated with the School of Town and Country Planning which was established in 1955 by the Government of India to provide facilities for rural, urban and regional planning. On integration,the School was renamed as School of Planning and Architecture in 1959.
