Application is invited for the post of ‘Project Associate’ in Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur under the Project entitled “Addressable Peptide-Polymer-Electrospun Nanofibers for Cell sorting diagnosis and delivery”. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Essential Qualification: B.Tech OR M.Sc. OR B.Sc. OR MCA
Desirable Qualification:
B. Tech (Electrical engineering/Material Science & Engineering/ Nanotechnology)
M.Sc. (Electronics/Physics/Mat. Science). Candidates having at least 4 years research experience in Nanotechnology especially in electrospinning and hands on experience in Electrospraying, Near-field electrospinning, Melt electrospinning and its implications on 3D Printed technology will be preferred.
Experience of working in clean rooms and characterization of materials using lab equipment like FESEM, optical microscope, statistical analysis and surface physics of nanomaterials synthesis, characterization and knowledge in embedded software development will be highly preferred.
Scale of pay: 18000-1500-45000
Duration of appointment:The post is purely temporary in nature and is for the duration of one year initially which may be extended for one more year based on performance.
