Engagement of Project Associate in VNIT, Nagpur

Applications are invited in prescribed form for the post of Project Associateto work on a research project funded by National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), New Delhiinitially for a period of six months to be extended up to a period of maximum 2 years

1. Title of the Research Project: “Developing Framework for Heat Vulnerability Mapping and Model Heat Action Plan for Indian Cities”.

4. Qualifying Criteria:
1. B.Arch/ B.Plan/ B.Tech (Plan) with a minimum of First Class (C.P.I or C.G.P.A greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale or 60% & above). OR B. Arch/ B.E (Civil)/ B. Tech (Civil)/ B. Plan/ B. Tech (Plan) with M.C.P / M. Arch/ M. Tech ( Urban Planning) / M. Plan./ M.U.R.P./ M.E (T & C P)/ Other Masters in relevant field with a minimum of First Class (C.P.I or C.G.P.A greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale or 60% & above) at Bachelor's or Master’s level 
2. Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
3. Knowledge of statistics, AutoCAD, GIS, ENVI-metand simulation softwares is desirable

5. Stipend: Rs. 18,000/- per month consolidated Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for interview. Additional criteria for the scrutiny of application forms might be used by the institute while short listing the candidates for interview
