Job Description
Project Associate (JRF) recruitment in IIT Mandi
Title of Research Project: Semi-Automatic framework for preparation of LHZ & LSZ using machine
learning techniques.
Minimum Qualification: M.Tech./M.E./M.S./M.Sc. (NET mandatory for M.Sc.) in Remote Sensing & GIS/
Geoinformatics/ Geology/ related subjects/ or equivalent. GATE or NET qualification is mandatory for JRF positions.OR M.Sc. in Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geology/ related subjects/ or equivalent with minimum 2 years experience in the relevant field.
Desirable: Hands-on experience of ARC GIS with good programming skills (C/C++,
Matlab, Python);Good command over English language and technical writing in English.
Salary: Rs. 20000- 25000
Age Limit: 28 years
