Project: “Preparation of State Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan of Uttar Pradesh”
Project Associate/01 Post
Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Biological Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Forestry in First Class and Research Experience of 3 years after M.Sc. in similar field.
Desirable Qualification: Degree/ Diploma in Environmental Law/ Policy/ Sustainable Development/ Biodiversity Assessments. Experience of working in National level Organizations/ Institutions in the field of natural resource management (NRM). Experience of working in multidisciplinary aspects related to biodiversity conservation
Knowledge and Skills: Hands on experience on biodiversity related issues and challenges. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with people and multi-sectoral teams to achieve results
Age: Not more than 32 years on the date of Interview
Emoluments: Rs. 40,000 (Consolidated
Location of Project site: Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun and frequent travel to various Departments of Uttar Pradesh State Government
Project Fellow/01 Post
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Biodiversity Studies and Management/ Environmental Sciences/ Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks
Desirable Qualification: Understanding of socio-economic aspects related to biodiversity conservation. Experience of working Organizations/ Institutions in the field of natural resource management (NRM) in India/ Uttar Pradesh
Age: Not more than 28 years on the date of Interview
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000 (Consolidated)
