Senior Project Fellow – 02

Name of Projects : Monitoring of NTPC Accelerated Afforestation programme of Plantation of 10 Million Trees – in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Assam, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bihar’, NTPC Ltd.

Project Associate – 01

Name of Projects : Environmental Management Plan and Reclamation and Rehabilitaion of three iron ore mining leases of BIOM, Kirandul complex, south Bastar Dantewada District, Chattisgarh

Essential Qualification for the Post of Project Associate :

1. Ph. D/First Class Post Graduate/B. Tech/M. Tech. in Environment Management/ Environmental Engineering of River & Lake or equivalence having 3 years working experience in relevant field.

Desirable : Working experience and knowledge in Hydrology of River & Lake, Environmental Impact Assessment & preparation of Environmental Management Plans for hydroelectric/developmental projects. Working experience in GIS applications.

2. Ph. D/ First Class Post Graduate (M. Sc./B. Tech./M. Tech. in Geology / Geo Science having 3 years working experience in relevant field.

Desirable : Working experience and knowledge in geological field works and mining relevant to the open cast mining and knowledge in application of GIS techniques.

Stipend (Rs. /Month) : 28,000/- with Ph. D or 25,000/- (without Ph. D.) + HRA

Essential Qualification for the Post of Senior Project Fellow :

1. First Class M. Sc. in Botany/Forestry with specialization in Plant Ecology having 2 years working experience in relevant field.

Desirable : Working experience and knowledge in Biodiversity and Environmental Impact Assessment studies and preparation of Environmental management plans of developmental projects and working experience in GIS applications.

2. First Class M. Sc. in Botany/Forestry with specialization in plant taxonomy having 2 years working experience in relevant field.

Desirable : Working experience and knowledge in Plant taxonomy/ Biodiversity Assessment.

Stipend (Rs. /Month) : 20,000 + HRA
